Just yesterday my ped was telling me all about what I shouldn't be feeding Jax, and I'm pretty sure all those foods fall under the "Do not feed" list. But he also said no cake on his first birthday and we are throwing that out the window! Besides, you are just showing her that eating can be so much more fun than baby food!
What dr. does Bonnie go to? The only things my dr. said no on before a year was peanut butter, nuts, milk and maybe chocolate. What do I know it has been 3 years since I had a baby. There is one dr. in our area that gives kids dog biscuits when they start teething.
You want to do things perfectly when it's your first, and you realize you can't with the second. Or you choose your battles. I think I read that on a cereal box once. :)
